A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect through Wednesday afternoon. A snow producing system will move across the area today and tomorrow dropping 4 to 6 inches in the higher elevations.
Strong winds will also be possible.
A second weather system will affect our region on Friday, bringing the possibility of heavy snow along the Divide.
A third winter storm system will move in at the beginning of next week.
Salida and Buena Vista can expect a high of 41. Look for an overnight low of 23.
The San Luis Valley will see a high of 37, a low of 17.
Leadville and Fairplay will warm up to 27 with a low of 9.
