A Red Flag Fire Warning has been issued for today due to gusty winds, low humidity and dry fuels.

Winds will be gusting to 30 mph out of the west.  Relative humidity will be between 5 and 10 percent. Conditions will be favorable for the rapid ignition, growth and spread of fires.

High elevation snow showers are possible tonight along the Divide.  Locations north of Cottonwood Pass may see an inch or two of accumulation on the peaks. There is a better chance of high country snow tomorrow and into the weekend.

The valley will see a sunny high of 71. Look for an overnight low of 43.

Leadville, Fairplay and the mountains can expect a high of 59, a low of 27.

the Colorado Department of Health has issued an Air Quality Health Advisory due to smoke from the Decker Fire.

Chaffee, Saguache and Fremont Counties, along with BLM and Forest Service lands, are all under Stage II Fire Restrictions that prohibit all open fires.
