Snow Totals From Around Colorado

A major storm rumbled through Colorado today dumping more than two feet of snow in some parts of the state. Here are the latest snow totals.

The Front Range and I-70 corridor was hit pretty hard, causing the Colorado Department of Transportation to warn people to just stay home and avoid travel until tomorrow. The 3 to 5″ of snow expected for Salida actually turned into 15″ as the storm swung further south than the Weather Service had predicted.

Here are the snow totals so far. (Note: Snow is still falling in the Ark River Valley, so some totals may be low.)

  • Boulder: 20″
  • Buena Vista: 6″
  • Colorado Springs: 9″
  • Denver: 7″
  • Estes Park: 31″
  • Fort Collins: 14″
  • Glenwood Springs: 1.5″
  • Gunnison: 1.8″
  • Hartsel: 6″
  • Loveland: 14.5″
  • Meeker: 24″
  • Monarch Mountain: 18″
  • Monument: 13″
  • Poncha Springs: 12″
  • Salida: 15″
  • Steamboat Springs: 8″
  • Telluride: 12″
  • Westcliffe: 4.5″
