Light snow is expected today and tonight over the higher terrain, with 1 to 2 inches of accumulation anticipated.
Another storm system will bring light snow to the mountains late Tuesday night into Wednesday.
Salida and Buena Vista will see a high of 47 today; an overnight low of 17.
The San Luis Valley can expect a high of 35, a low of 7.
Leadville and Fairplay will see a high of 29, a low of 1.
Danny “Dan R” Ridenour has been in radio and television broadcasting for over 40 years, starting as a senior in high school in Rogers, Arkansas. His radio career has had stops in Nashville, Memphis, Oklahoma, and eventually, Colorado.
