The Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office and the 11th Judicial District Attorney’s Office made a major announcement in the Suzanne Morphew investigation Wednesday.
A news conference was held at 104 Crestone Avenue in Salida Wednesday afternoon where Chaffee County Sheriff John Spezee and 11th Judicial District Attorney Linda Stanley officially announced that Barry Morphew has been arrested on Murder in the First Degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence and Attempt to Influence a Public Servant in connection with the murder of Suzanne Morphew.
