Heavy snow is expected with a foot possible in the mountains, 5 to 7 inches possible in the lower elevations. Winds will be gusting to 50 mph.
Travel will be difficult. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibilities.
Salida and Buena Vista will warm up to of 21. A low of 1.
The San Luis Valley can expect a high of 19, a low of -5.
Leadville and Fairplay look for a high of 11 with a low of -9.

His radio career has had stops in Nashville, Memphis, Oklahoma, and eventually, Colorado. He and his wife Carrie spend their days doing everything the mountains have to offer: hiking, camping, fishing and skiing. They've raised 3 children and have 2 grandchildren.
