Thunderstorms will increase in coverage and intensity today and tomorrow. The main risk will be heavy rain and flash flooding.
Slightly cooler and drier weather is expected on Friday, although isolated thunderstorms are possible through the weekend.
Salida and Buena Vista can expect a high of 89 today. Look for an overnight low of 55.
The San Luis Valley will see a high of 83, a low of 51.
Leadville and Fairplay will warm up to 71 with a low of 41.
