Schedule your donation for Colorado Gives Day today at ChaffeeGives.org

Chaffee County Community Foundation is excited to announce the countdown to Colorado Gives Day, an online giving event held Dec. 7.

Starting yesterday, Nov. 1st, you can schedule your donation at ChaffeeGives.org. Your donation will count toward earning CCCF, and other local nonprofits, a part of the $1.265 million Colorado Gives Day Incentive Fund, leveraging your gift even further.

All participating Colorado Gives Day nonprofits earn a percentage of the fund, so the more we raise, the more funds we have to continue the important work of serving and supporting the Chaffee County community.

As we get ready for the biggest giving day of the year, we reflect on the difficult times we’ve weathered the past two years. Amidst these challenges, CCCF remained a resilient organization who processed over a million dollars of federal, state and locally raised COVID-related funds to support our local nonprofits, small businesses and individuals affected by COVID.

As a community foundation, we were able to give money quickly and effectively to those in need. In distributing funds, CCCF did not charge administrative fees to process the Emergency Response funds, while the labor-intensive nature of the work greatly stretched CCCF resources. Further, CCCF has administered over $220,000 in community grants from the Town of Buena Vista and the City of Salida, to support the work of local nonprofits.

As a foundation, we plan to continue to be poised to act quickly and respond to the growing and complicated needs of our community, and for that we need your help. Help us continue to be the “roots and branches” for Chaffee County by scheduling your donation today through Dec. 7.
