A Red Flag Fire Warning is in effect for the San Luis Valley today.
Rounds of rain and snow showers will impact our area tomorrow through Tuesday. Isolated thunderstorms will be possible each day.
Snowfall totals through Monday will range from 4 to 8 inches with the snow levels dropping to 6,000 feet on Monday.
Salida and Buena Vista can expect a high of 69 today. Look for an overnight low of 37.
The San Luis Valley will see a high of 67, a low of 31.
Leadville and Fairplay will warm up to 51 with a low of 21.

His radio career has had stops in Nashville, Memphis, Oklahoma, and eventually, Colorado. Dan enjoys being involved in the community, having been a member of the Upper Arkansas Service Club and is currently on the board of directors for the Salida Community Center and is a member of the Chaffee County Fair Committee. He and his wife Carrie spend their days doing everything the mountains have to offer: hiking, camping, fishing and skiing. They've raised 3 children and have 2 grandchildren.
