A cold front moves through today bringing cooler temperatures and snow to the mountains. The heaviest snow will be north of Cottonwood Pass. Winds will be gusting to 30 mph out of the west.

A cold front moves through tomorrow bringing snow to the mountains. The heaviest snow will be north of Cottonwood Pass. Winds will be gusting to 30 mph out of the west.

Light snow along the Divide will taper off today. Mostly sunny skies and breezy conditions can be expected. 

Strong winds with gusts of up to 80 mph will occur over the higher peaks. Gusts of up to 60 will occur over the valleys.

Light to moderate snowfall will persist into mid-afternoon across the area, with additional accumulations of 1 to 3 inches at the lower elevations, and 3 to 6 over the mountains. 

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect. Heavier mountain snow starts today and continues through Saturday morning.  Up to 2 feet of new snow is expected over the mountains.

Snowfall will continue along the Divide through Saturday with snow becoming heavy again Thursday afternoon and Friday. Up to 2 feet of mountain snow will be possible.
