A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for the mountains through Sunday.
Snow can be expected in the higher elevations beginning today. Up to 2 feet of heavy wet snow will be possible along the Divide by Sunday.
Accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are expected in the lower elevations on Saturday.
Travel will be hazardous this weekend.
An Avalanche Watch is also in effect.
Salida and Buena Vista will see a high of 45. A low of 31.
The San Luis Valley can expect a high of 41, a low of 25.
Leadville and Fairplay look for a high of 35 with a low of 19.
