Weather Forecast for January 23rd

Artic air is moving into the area late today into Sunday.  Very cold temperatures and snow is expected.  Up to 21 inches of new snow will be possible along the Divide, 6-8 inches for the lower elevations. 

If you plan to travel this weekend, make sure you are prepared for extreme winter weather conditions.                 

Salida and Buena Vista will see a high of 39.  A low of 13.  (27)

The San Luis Valley can expect a high of 35, a low of 11.    (23)

Leadville and Fairplay look for a high of 29 with a low of 9.  (19)
