Meet Spot! He is the Heart of the Rockies Radio Pet of the Week!

Spot is a loving, handsome 5-year-old male American Pit Bull terrier mix. He’s a friendly and playful dog who knows several tricks. He’s made fast friends with volunteers and staff here at AVHS. Volunteers report he does well on leash for walks. He even got to take a short break in a loving foster home! They said he did great and was a wonderful house guest!

Spot has lived with another female dog in his previous home, make sure to bring your pup to ensure it is a good fit for all.

8th Annual Feline & Fido Photo Contest

The 8th Annual Fall Feline & Fido Photo Contest kicks off Monday October 23rd! It is $5 to submit a photo and $1 to vote. The top 12 photos will appear on the Ark-Valley Humane Society’s 2024 calendar!
