SALIDA, Colo.—HRRMC Foundation offers the following 2026 healthcare scholarships:

William G Mehos Scholarship for 2026 high school graduates who reside in the Salida Hospital District (including Chaffee and Saguache Counties and western Fremont County) who are accepted into a university program for fall 2026 and majoring in a healthcare field. This one-time scholarship of $1,500 is accepting applications emailed or postmarked by 5pm on Friday, March 20, 2026.*

HRRMC Auxiliary Scholarship for 2026 high school graduates living within Buena Vista, Salida, and Cotopaxi School Districts. This $1,500 scholarship is renewable each year of a four-year university program beginning in fall 2026 and majoring in healthcare. Applications are due by email or postmarked by 5pm on Friday, March 20, 2026.*

Charles J Forster Scholarship for current college students who attended high school within the Salida Hospital District (including Chaffee and Saguache Counties and western Fremont County) and are majoring in healthcare. Two one-time $2,500 scholarships will be awarded. Applications are due by email or postmarked by 5pm on Friday, June 5.*

Annie Little Scholarship for graduates of Buena Vista High School who are current college students majoring in healthcare. Two one-time $2,500 scholarships will be awarded. Applications are due by email or postmarked by 5pm on Friday, June 5.*

EMT/CNA/CMA to RN Scholarships are awarded to individuals who are currently Certified EMT/paramedics, Certified Nurse Assistants, or Certified Medical Assistants who are pursuing a nursing degree (Associates or BSN) and enrolled for fall 2026. Applications are due by email or postmarked by 5pm on Friday, June 26.
