The Colorado Department of Transportation will begin work Monday to improve 10 miles of Highway 50 between Coaldale and Texas Creek.
CDOT says this project will greatly enhance safety on this two-lane heavily used highway.
Resurfacing will begin on Monday and continue through September.
Motorists can expect single-lane alternating traffic, width restrictions, and reduced speeds.
