Salida, CO – The City of Salida, in partnership with the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), is pleased to announce the completion of a series of multi-modal improvements along Oak Street (CO 291). The roadway officially reopened to traffic on Thursday, October 30, with minor off-roadway work expected to continue through the first week of November.
The Oak Street project represents a major investment in safety, accessibility, and mobility for the Salida community. Designed to support all types of travel: whether by car, bicycle, or on foot, the upgrades ensure that Oak Street can serve as a modern, inclusive transportation corridor for years to come.
