A possible tornado touched down north of Divide yesterday afternoon, causing damage to trees and power lines in the area. Reports indicate that the most significant impact occurred near County Roads 511 and 51.
The National Weather Service (NWS) is currently investigating whether the damage was caused by a tornado or straight-line winds.
Crews responded to downed trees and power lines, but no injuries have been reported.
