A free Community Forum on Wildfire Preparedness will be held tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Salida.
The event will feature Leeza Vasko, A Forester with the Colorado State Forest Service, who will discuss what the Forest Service does to help prevent wildfires and what residents can do to prepare for emergencies.
The forum is open to the public, and all community members are encouraged to attend.
