Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center (HRRMC) has announced that the front entrance of the hospital, including the carport circle used for patient pick-up and drop-off, will close for construction beginning Saturday.
The closure is expected to last approximately five to six months while work is completed.
During this time, patients and visitors will have three alternate entrance options available: the Emergency Department entrance, as well as the front and back entrances of the adjoining Outpatient Pavilion.
Hospital officials say parking on the HRRMC campus will be more limited during construction, and signs will be posted throughout the property to help guide patients and visitors to available entrances and parking areas.
Additionally, the hospital’s main registration desk for services will be temporarily relocated to the atrium during the construction period.
To assist patients and visitors, Guest Services personnel will be stationed at each entrance to provide directions and help ensure people can reach their appointments and services as easily as possible.
