Chaffee County Commissioner P.T. Wood has announced he will seek a second term representing District 3.
In his announcement, Wood said he is eager to continue serving the residents of Chaffee County and to provide what he described as steady, thoughtful, and community-driven leadership. He emphasized that such leadership is especially important during a time of ongoing uncertainty and continued challenges facing the county.
Wood brings extensive local government experience to the role. In addition to serving as county commissioner, he previously held the position of Mayor of Salida and served as Chair of the Salida Planning Commission.
Wood said his decision to run again reflects his commitment to the community and his desire to build on the work already underway to support the county’s long-term needs.
