AARP is offering a Smart Driver course to help older adults refresh their driving skills and potentially save on auto insurance. The course covers vehicle safety technologies, the effects of medications on driving, and strategies to manage age-related physical changes.
The one-day class will be offered at the Salida Community Center on three dates: tomorrow, October 31st, and December 5th, all from 1 to 5 p.m.
The cost is $20 for AARP members and $25 for non-members. Upon completion, participants may qualify for a reduction in their auto insurance premiums.
