Family and Youth Initiatives, in partnership with the Chaffee County Department of Human Services, is sponsoring a Nurturing Parenting Class for parents and caregivers of children from birth to age 11.
The free classes include dinner and childcare and will cover topics such as parenting with empathy, child development, building strong family bonds, and nurturing discipline techniques.
Classes will be held on Wednesday evenings in Buena Vista from September 17 through December 10.
