Salida Police Departments drug sniffing dog K-9 Sarge had a busy weekend.
Salida officers were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle Saturday night. The occupant had allegedly been seen using illicit narcotics.
Officers made contact with the subject and K-9 Sarge and his handler arrived to assist. Sarge alerted to the vehicle and a search revealed methamphetamine and a 3 oz. bottle of suspected GHB.
The driver was arrested and booked on multiple charges.
