A Utah woman is in the hospital with serious injuries today following a one vehicle crash yesterday on Highway 24, 11 miles east of Johnson Village.
28-year-old Rochelle Chandler of South Jordan, UT was westbound when she drifted off the side of the road, rolling several times before coming to rest at the bottom of a steep embankment.
Highway 24 was closed for 45 minutes due to the crash.
Chandler was flown to St. Anthony’s Hospital with serious injuries.
Drugs and alcohol are suspected to be contributing factors in the crash which is still under investigation.
