The Colorado Bureau of Investigation says a 43-year-old woman has admitted to firing the weapon in last Saturday’s deadly shooting in Florence.
According to investigators, the woman has been cooperating with law enforcement and claims she acted in self-defense when she discharged the firearm.
The incident occurred Saturday afternoon on Railroad Street on the outskirts of Florence. The victim, 40-year-old Zebariah Boh, was killed in the shooting.
Authorities say the investigation remains ongoing, and no final decision has been made regarding potential charges.
