Fresh local produce, handmade goods, and live entertainment are on the schedule this weekend with farmers markets in both Salida and Buena Vista.
The Salida Farmers Market takes place Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon at Alpine Park. The market features locally grown produce, artisan crafts, and live music.
On Sunday, Buena Vista Heritage hosts its weekly Farmers Market, including a Kids’ Market, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Turner Farm and Apple Orchard.
Both markets offer an opportunity to shop local, support area vendors, and enjoy a weekend in the Arkansas Valley.
