Weather plays havoc with final week of regular season sports

The weather has changed up scheduling for many teams as the last week of the high school season progresses.

Tuesday, the Spartan volleyball team was supposed to play Atlas Prep, but that game was moved to Wednesday, and now, due to round two of snow, has been scheduled for Friday. Salida is planning on doing an overnight trip to Atlas Prep, paired with the Spartans playing in the Manitou Springs tournament on Saturday morning.

Cotopaxi volleyball was supposed to play Mountain Valley on Tuesday, but will now play on Thursday instead, with first serve of the opening round of Districts at 5:30.

The Salida soccer team already saw their game delayed by CHSAA from Thursday to Friday at 5:00 at Spartan Stadium when they host Alamosa for the first round of the postseason.

Buena Vista volleyball at Gunnison is still on as planned for Thursday, and can be heard on Eagle Country 104 starting at 6:00 pm.
