A snow producing storm system is expected to stay with us through Tuesday.

The central mountains could pick up close to a foot of new snow, while the valley could see up to an inch.   

Salida and Buena Vista will see a significant chance of snow and a high of 44. Expect lows to drop down to 23. Monday brings a chance of snow and a high of 43.  

Snow showers are likely in the San Luis Valley with a high of 43. The overnight low is expected to be 16. Monday there is a slight chance of snow and a high of 44.  

Leadville and Fairplay will see snow today and a high of 31. Expect an overnight low of 10. Monday brings a chance of snow and cooler temperatures with a high only reaching 26.
