A strong weather system will track across our area through Friday. The system is bringing much needed rain and moderate to heavy snowfall to the higher elevations.   Temperatures will be well below seasonal levels.                    

Salida and Buena Vista will see a high of 49.  A low of 33.  (53)

The San Luis Valley can expect a high of 47, a low of 29.    (51)

Leadville and Fairplay look for a high of 39 with a low of 19.  (41)
