Near record temperatures are possible across the area through the end of the week. Elevated fire danger can be expected. The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Fire Warning for today due to gusty winds and low humidity. Winds will be gusting up to 30 mph.
Smoke from the wildfires to our west will continue to make its way over our area.
Salida and Buena Vista will see a high of 89 with a low of 55.
The San Luis Valley can expect a high of 87, a low of 51.
Leadville and Fairplay look for a high of 73 with a low of 43.
