Chaffee County Commissioners Meet Today

The Chaffee County Board of Commissioners is holding a regular meeting today with a full agenda. Key items expected to be addressed include:

• Termination of Appointment: A resolution is expected to be approved removing Salty Riggs from the Chaffee Housing Authority Board of Directors.
• Grant Awards: Commissioners will award 2025 Common Ground Citizen Advisory Committee Grants.
• Event Permit Review: Consideration of a multi-year special event permit for the Buena Vista Optimist Club’s Colorado–Texas Tomato War.
• Festival Review: A review of the June Pretty Lights Festival held at The Meadows in Buena Vista.
