The San Luis Valley Animal Welfare Society is asking for the public’s help after a trailer loaded with kennels was stolen earlier this week.
According to the shelter, an 18-foot flatbed trailer carrying multiple kennels was taken from its location in San Luis on Monday night. Officials estimate the value of the trailer and its contents at approximately $15,000.
The organization is urging anyone who may have seen the trailer or has information about its whereabouts to contact local law enforcement.
Authorities have not released additional details as the investigation remains ongoing.
