The Central Colorado Humanists’ Sunday Science series returns this weekend with a presentation focused on preparing students for the future through STEM and robotics. The program takes place Sunday at 10:00 a.m. at A Church, located at 419 D Street in Salida.
Kate Sample will lead the program, which centers around FIRST — For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology — a global nonprofit that engages young people ages 4 to 18 in inclusive, team-based robotics programs. FIRST aims to equip students with the skills and inspiration to become leaders in science, technology, engineering, and math.
