Salida author Lindsay Rice invites readers and music lovers alike to an evening of literature, music, and nostalgia at The Velveteen Lounge. The book signing and reading of her debut novel, “Birdenwheel,” takes place tomorrow night (Saturday) from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at 115 G Street in downtown Salida.
“Birdenwheel” follows a cast of characters as they travel the country in the early 1990s, following the music and spirit of the Grateful Dead.
🎸 The night also features a performance by Grateful Dead tribute band Roundhouse Assembly.
📚 Attendees will enjoy a signed copy of the book, a grilled cheese sandwich, and live music, all included with the $28 ticket.
