The National Weather Service says smoke from wildfires in the Pacific Northwest and Canada could affect the air quality in our area over the weekend.

There are several fires burning in Colorado. The Lowline Fire, burning 14 miles north of Gunnsion, is listed today at 1,871 acres with 55% containment.

Several smaller fires are burning in southwest Colorado between Pagosa Springs and Durango.
