This week, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) marked its 72nd anniversary, celebrating more than seven decades of service in empowering entrepreneurs, aiding in disaster recovery, and fueling economic growth across the country.

Since its founding in 1953, the SBA has played a crucial role in helping millions of Americans start and grow their businesses. Today, small businesses make up 99% of all U.S. businesses, highlighting the SBA’s continued impact.

Under the leadership of Administrator Kelly Loeffler, the agency is focusing on restoring its core mission—emphasizing accountability, reducing fraud and waste, and removing partisan influence to better serve small business owners nationwide.
