A winter storm pushes its way into the area this afternoon and this evening as a chance of snow greets the high country and a slight chance of a rain snow mix in the valleys.
Up to 6 inches of new snow will be possible over the mountains while the lower elevations could see an inch or two.
Salida and Buena Vista will see clouds move in as the day progresses and a high of 63 with an overnight low of 35.
Leadville, Fairplay and the high country will see a high of 45 and a low of 17.
