The Salida School District Board of Education has appointed Derek Vaughn as a new director.
Vaughn was selected during the board’s February 10 meeting to fill a vacant At-Large Director position. He will serve the remainder of the unexpired term.
District officials welcomed Vaughn to the board as he steps into the role.
