The City of Salida is inviting residents to take part in a community meeting to review updated plans for a proposed affordable senior housing development and public park.
During the meeting, city staff will present the latest design concepts, answer questions, and walk attendees through the timeline for pursuing project funding. A key topic of discussion will be the upcoming Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) application. If approved, the tax credit would cover a substantial share of the project’s financial needs. The application is due in February, and officials plan to use the meeting to explain the process and outline what comes next.
The community meeting is scheduled for Monday, December 8, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Salida Fire House Meeting Room, 611 Oak Street. Residents are encouraged to attend and learn more about the project’s progress.
