The Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the Park County Sheriff’s Office are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a John Doe whose remains were discovered last year.

To aid the investigation, a forensic facial reconstruction specialist created a sculpted likeness of the man, offering a possible representation of what he looked like. The sculpture can be viewed on our website, heartoftherockiesradio.com.

According to CBI, the remains were found on May 28, 2024, in a remote camping area on Forest Service land outside Bailey. Investigators believe the man may have been in the area since 2022 or 2023.

Anyone with information that could help identify this individual is urged to contact the CBI tip line at 720-295-6642.
