Salida Prepares for 2025 Municipal Election – Candidate Packets Available August 5th

The City of Salida will make election packets for the upcoming 2025 municipal election available starting Tuesday, August 5th.

This year, voters will elect:

• A new Mayor, as Mayor Dan Shore has announced he will not seek re-election after serving four years on City Council and four years as Mayor.
• One City Council member from each ward.

To appear on the ballot, candidates must:

• Meet residency and voter registration requirements, and
• Collect at least 25 valid signatures.
