Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center has announced that voting for the Salida Hospital District board election will take place on Tuesday, May 6th. Polling locations will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the second-floor conference room at HRRMC in Salida and at Mountain Heights Church on County Road 317 in Buena Vista.
Six candidates are running for three open board seats: Lydia Segal, Amy Stanley, Carol Merovka, Dean Edwards, Annette Madonna, and William Alderton.
Eligible voters may also request an absentee ballot by visiting hrrmc.com or emailing hrrmcelections@hrrmc.net. The deadline to request an absentee ballot is Tuesday, April 29th.
