The Salida City Council will convene for a work session tonight, beginning at 6 p.m., to address several key topics impacting the community.
During the session, council members will hear a presentation from the Chaffee County Building Department and review concept designs for the city’s affordable senior housing project. The evening will also include a tour of the Touber Building, offering councilors a closer look at the facility.
Council business will continue tomorrow night with a regularly scheduled meeting. During that meeting, the council is expected to appoint a Mayor Pro Tem and select a municipal judge.
Both meetings are part of the council’s ongoing efforts to address city operations and long-term community needs.
