The Salida City Council will conduct a regular meeting tonight beginning at 6 p.m.
Among the items on the agenda, council members will consider adoption of the 2025 Colorado Wildfire Resiliency Code, a measure designed to strengthen wildfire preparedness and resilience standards within the community.
Council is also expected to approve an updated zoning map and consider a liquor license application for Velveteen Lounge.
Under unfinished business, the council will hold a public hearing on a proposed ordinance regulating noise control and sound permits. The ordinance is intended to establish standards and permitting requirements related to amplified sound and noise levels within the city.
The meeting will take place at City Hall and is open to the public.
