Salida City Council Meets Tonight – Key Topics Include Psilocybin Ordinance and Major Annexations

The Salida City Council will hold a regular meeting tonight at 6pm at City Hall.

Consent Agenda:

• Approval of a special event liquor license for Jazz Fest on August 9th.

Unfinished Business:

• Public hearings on several key ordinances:
  • Amending the municipal code regarding Natural Medicine healing centers—referring to therapeutic uses of psilocybin, the active compound in psychedelic mushrooms.
  • Annexation and zoning proposals for the Granzella–City of Salida annexation and the Mesa Ridge annexation.

New Business:

• Consideration of a Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Salida and Solvista Health.
• Approval of the Salida Quality Farms / Meadowlark Drive subdivision.
