The Salida City Council has announced several leadership and committee appointments following its recent meeting.
Council member Wayles Martin was selected to serve as Mayor Pro Tem. In addition to this role, Martin was also appointed to the city’s Sustainability Committee, where he will help guide environmental and long-term planning initiatives.
Other council members received committee and board assignments as well. Suzanne Fontana and Shelley Schreinerwere appointed to the Finance Committee, overseeing budgetary and fiscal matters for the city. Aaron Stephens was named to the Airport Advisory Board, while Joey Rovinsky and Alisa Pappenfort were appointed to the Public Art Commission, which supports and promotes public art projects throughout Salida.
In addition to council appointments, Taggart Mosholder was selected to serve as Municipal Court Judge for a two-year term.
City officials say the appointments are aimed at ensuring continued leadership and effective oversight across Salida’s boards, committees, and municipal services.
