Christmas Card Lane has been a Buena Vista tradition for a long time, perhaps 40 years, and has been presented by the Buena Vista Chamber of Commerce. The 2025 Christmas Card Lane was set up Monday, December 8, 2025, and will be taken down Friday, January 9, 2026.
While the BV Chamber oversees the event, Ridgeline Signs provided the bulk of the work and volunteer efforts. Ridgeline was assisted by BV Public Works, who provided approximately 200 sandbags that hold displays in place; and Gunsmoke Towing who provided a flatbed truck to haul signs and stands from storage to their assigned location, as did volunteer Bill Confer and his trailer.
Most metal signs were produced by Ridgeline at their cost of $350 (which covers production), and the Chamber charged $250 to set up and take down the sign and store it until next year. The Chamber funds are used to defray costs like the Parade of Lights.
Buen Vista Chamber of Commerce is a member-owned, not-for-profit organization governed by a Board of Directors:
