The Roy Williams Foundation is inviting all veterans, first responders, and their families to a special appreciation dinner tonight at the Elks Lodge in Salida.
The evening begins at 6 p.m. and will feature Purple Heart Veteran and Police Officer Dexter Pitts, who will be speaking and signing copies of his book, “I Am Pitts: Memoirs of an American Patriot.”
This event is free to attend and is a gesture of gratitude for those who serve and protect the community and nation.
