Rock Run Gallery gives a taste of local and abroad to Buena Vista

When walking the streets of South Main in Buena Vista, one of the first shops you will pass by when driving from downtown is the Rock Run Gallery.

Owned and operated by local artist Nora Larimer, Rock Run is one of the most colorful galleries you will find in the area. Nora says she tries to bring in a taste of local art, but also enjoys showcasing and selling pieces from artists she has met on her travels.

With pieces from New Mexico, South Carolina and many more, each time you visit you will find something new.

That is the goal for Nora in both her gallery and her art, as when she paints the mountains, lakes and rivers of central Colorado, she also tries to bring out something new for the viewer, particularly with her use of colors you may not thing of when traditionally thinking of mountain scenes.

The Rock Run Gallery is open Monday through Saturday from 10 AM to 6 PM and from 12 Noon to 4 PM on Sunday’s.
