The Canon City Police Department is seeking assistance in a road-rage incident that took place yesterday and involved shots fired.
According to a Canon City Police press release, a driver called police reporting a road-rage incident in the 900 block of Sell Avenue. While on the phone, the dispatcher heard two shots fired. The caller told dispatch that an occupant of the other vehicle had shot at his vehicle.
The suspected vehicle is a gold-colored mini-van with Washington license plates.
Authorities described the shooter as an African-American male and the other occupant as an African-American female.
Anyone who has information regarding this incident is asked to call the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office.
